How we ran our kettle corn fundraiser, June 25, 2009 Reviewer: Metro N. from Anytown, AT 55555 3 of 3 people found this review helpful So now it has become a nice seller at our school, to the point that the band room has at least a dozen students or teachers coming in every PERIOD looking for the Kettle Corn. We originally prepackaged them into shopping bags (5 small bags of popcorn fit comfortably) and had students sign them out. It was so successful that these same students would return literally within 10 minutes looking for more...so after the first lot was sold, we started making shopping bags of 10 (just about the max one can get into a shopping bag) and students signed out up to 2 bags at a time (28 kettle corn bags)...we also had announcments over the intercom and sort of marketed it into the next big thing at our school. The morning announcment team are all band students, so they have been ending the morning school announcments with: "Attention, the kettle corn is in, the kettle corn is in...see a band geek while supplies last or go to room 157 between classes...yada, yada, yada."
