As a general rule, daily subscriptions take 4 to 8 weeks to start, weekly subscriptions take 6 to 10 weeks to start, monthly subscriptions take 8 to 12 weeks to start and bi-monthly and quarterly subscriptions take 10 to 16 weeks to start. This is the standard processing time regardless of where you order from (including Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, or even factory direct).

The lag time is due to the publishers using mail processing centers which tabulate, process, mail, and sort the millions of orders received. In addition, most magazines are printed months in advance, and each printing is pre-allocated only to the amount of subscribers at the actual time of printing. At worst case, an order received in January might actually commence in April.

There is very little difference in the processing time whether one orders directly through the publisher, or through a subscription reseller, like us. Please be assured these are standard industry lead times.
